HTC550 is designed to work as a monostable multivibrator.

The HTC550 monostable multivibrator is very useful as a pulse stretcher circuit. It provides a wide range of output pulse durations which are selected with a simple external resistor. This monostable multivibrator does not require any tuning or external components and provides a 10% accurate pulse duration.

It is very easy to use and priced to meet your budget. Compared to a monostable multivibrator built using a classic 555 timer IC, it requires a lower number of external components.
